Figures: ethereal black ink drawings of sensual figures, either feminine or androgynous. Visages are sometimes masked, always tattooed and expressions are placid. Necks are detached from faces, members are floating, breasts become eyes, waistlines remain excessively fine, hips are pronounced, and legs extend endlessly, interlacing with others members.

Univers: poetic, esthetic, oneiric, oriental, mystic, Asian, African, Human, it’s Human and woman in their emotions, positions, desire and complexity. Sometimes deconstructed and convoluted, sometimes simple and balanced, the artist suggests exploring hybrid beings in a dreamlike and primitive universe filled by masked faces, telling each time a different story.

Black and White: the balance between empty and full, presence and absence, shade and light, tortuous lines and sensual curve, movement and fixity.

Technique: the drawings are designed with black Indian ink dancing on white space. Gestures are utterly free, improvised and spontaneous. The plume just slides, preceding any idea or thought. The result, thus, becomes unpredictable, like life itself.
